Wednesdays in October, join Thee Unshod for this hands-on 5-week intensive. Whether you're curious or just breaking into the scene, this class is for you! With a focus on storytelling, individuality, & movement, we will create art. With special guests, Handsy, as our MUA & Costume instructor. Goals: - learn burlesque basics Such as peels, history, performer etiquette, & what is tease anyway? -learn specialty skills Such as floorwork, music editing, costuming, & makeup - Create your burlesque persona - Discover your signatures - Learn to market this persona Walk away with a polished group choreography and a small group or solo act to show friends and family on the last day of the intensive.
